MANAGING DIRECTOR

DESMOND GOH

Desmond Goh has demonstrated exemplary leadership in the electrical engineering sector, notably at Kinergy Advancement Berhad. Under his guidance, the company experienced significant growth and success, culminating in its listing on the ACE market of Bursa Malaysia in 2017. Desmond Goh’s strategic vision and execution capabilities were key factors in this achievement. His leadership also played a crucial role in securing multi-million-dollar projects, further propelling the company’s advancement. This success led to Kinergy Advancement Berhad being upgraded to the Main Market of KLSE in 2020, solidifying its position in the industry.

During his 11-year tenure as Executive Director, Desmond Goh displayed remarkable strategic foresight and operational proficiency, driving growth and profitability. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Sky Power Sdn. Bhd., a renowned construction firm known for its commitment to quality and innovation in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) construction.

IR. TS. KEVIN WONG

Ir. Ts. Kevin Wong holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the University of State of Oklahoma, U.S.A. He is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and a member of several professional organizations, including the Institution of Engineers Malaysia, the Malaysia Board of Technologists, and the ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer. 

He has held various technical and management roles in the industry, working on significant projects such as the Putrajaya Government Office Building and Proton City Plant. His expertise spans design, project management, business development, and construction. Currently, he is serves as the Technical Advisor.

Kevin oversees sustainability-related technical matters within the company, ensuring they are managed at the highest decision-making level to support the company’s sustainable vision and mission.

TECHNICAL DESIGN (MECHANICAL)

IR. GOH YUEN PHANG

Ir. Goh graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is a registered member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia and the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia, and a certified Green Building Index Facilitator.

Ir. Goh has extensive expertise in air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, including centralized and split units, chilled water reticulation, cooling towers, pump sets, air handling units, and air distribution systems. He is experienced in designing and implementing fire protection systems, including hose reels, automatic sprinklers, hydrants, fire detection and alarm systems, smoke ventilation, emergency lighting, and CO2 extinguishing systems.

He is proficient in installing and maintaining hot and cold-water plumbing systems, sanitary plumbing, and venting systems, ensuring reliable water supply and effective waste management. He also has experience with LPG and natural gas piping, managing installation, maintenance, and safety protocols for gas distribution systems.

Ir. Goh is skilled in vertical transportation systems, including elevators and escalators, and building control systems, enhancing operational efficiency, safety, and comfort within buildings.

IR. TAN WEI HONG, KELVIN

Ir. Kelvin Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and a member of several professional organizations, including the Institution of Engineers Malaysia and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer.

Ir. Kelvin Tan has extensive expertise in designing and implementing PV solar system especially in for Large Scale Solar and for factory & warehouse roof top system. He also has experience and involved in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) design and optimization.

He is skilled in designing, applying and solution provider for EV Charging system. He is also involved in Carbon Credit and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) related field.

Ir. Kelvin Tan has more than 15 years’ experience covering design, contract administration, project management and consultancy in electrical and instrumentation services. He has vast experience in renewable energy sector (solar, EV charging and green power generation) and building works including green building, sustainable designs, housing development, mixed development, office and commercial buildings.
